Judith Rosenberg

Judith was born in 1944 in London, England. Her life began in war torn London. As an art student in the swinging sixties, a wildly influential, unconventional London was an exciting place to be. After finishing art college Judith was a zoological artist for the London Zoo before moving to the other side of the world, Australia. Here she started as a botanical and wildlife illustrator for the Botanic Gardens in Canberra and then for the next nine years she immersed herself in etching and print making, producing work at Canberra’s renowned Studio One. Another move saw her head north to Queensland, where she now resides. While lecturing has played an important role, it is the constant creative experimentation and production of new pieces that is her driving force.

I have a life long love of the theatre and draw on fables and fantasies from my childhood in England.”
