Kirty Bell

As a child, Kirty was immersed in art. Being surrounded by a family of artists, she was bound to have a creative flair in her genes. Kirty’s mother was a great artist and was always painting and drawing with her. However, although she was born into a family of great artists, Kirty says ‘they seemed to have missed out on the Master Chef gene – growing up on a diet of maggi packet mixes, that were never quite fully dissolved!’

Kirty later attended the ANU School Of Art in Canberra, but is still predominately self taught. She grew up drawing, painting and exhibiting with her friends at cafes in Albury, Melbourne and Canberra.

Kirty’s work portrays her quirky rainbow style mixed with a traditional technique. Her paintings are a fresh take on life that keep the viewer intrigued!
